MASSIE, Anna "Pauline" age 98 passed away on February 1, 2017, in Fairfield, California. She was born in Lake County, Indiana on February 14, 1918, the daughter of Charles and Maude (Apger) Reeves. On November 16, 1946, in Hamilton she married Charles Massie and he preceded her in death on September 15, 2000, at the age of 92. She worked with the American Red Cross in Bordeaux France from 1953-1956. Pauline was a long-time resident of Fairfield, California, where Charles was stationed at Travis Air Force Base. Mrs. Massie was a civilian employee at Travis Air Force Base working as an Accountant and plans officer retiring after twenty-one years of service.
Pauline is survived by nieces and nephews, Don (Kim) Massie, Patricia (Dave) Rhodes, Cheryl Ash, Lozella Massie and Lois Massie; long-time friends and neighbors, Harold Diehl and his wife MaryAnn who passed away in 2013, Rick and Gwen Keserick, with whom Pauline often had tea and dinner.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9-10:00AM Friday in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
