WIEGAND, Anna Jean age 83 of Hamilton, Ohio died early Friday morning, December 27, 2013 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 28, 1930 the daughter of Eugene and Lena (Morgan) Bippus and was a 1948 graduate of Hamilton High School. On February 12, 1949 in St. Joseph Church she married Edwin W. Wiegand, a marriage of nearly sixty-five years. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Parish. An active participant in the Elk's Women's Golf League, Anna Jean also enjoyed gardening seasonal flowers, bird watching, and was an excellent seamstress.
Survivors include her husband, Ed; three daughters, Judy (Jake) Krause of Liberty Township, Debbie (Bill) Zettler of Hamilton, and Cathy (Rick) Flick of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Jamie (Blake) Heinen, Jacob (Jenny) Krause, Josie Krause, Christa (Bill) Black, Matthew (Angie) Zettler, Nathan (Tiffany) Zettler, Samantha Burton, Kellie Burton, and Emily Burton; eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Addie, Will, Ella, Libby, Brady, Cooper, Nolan, Zack, Aubrey, and Tatum; a sister, Barbara Wells; a Brother-in-law, Jim (Mary Kay) Wiegand.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1972; mother in 1985; a great-grandson, Barrett in 2013; a sister, Virginia Lang.
Prayers will be offered at 1:00PM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30PM Monday in St. Julie Billiart Church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00PM Sunday in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
