TURNER, Aura, age 92 of Fairfield, died Saturday May 16, 2009 in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Spring Creek, Clay County, Kentucky on February 20, 1917 the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Helton) Bowling. On September 11, 1935 in Liberty, Indiana, she married Thomas T. Turner and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1988. Mrs. Turner had worked as a department manager at Rink's, for twenty years, retiring in 1984.

Survivors include a son, Thomas and (Ruth) Turner, of Hamilton; a granddaughter, Rebecca (Jerry) Garner; two great grandchildren, Joshua and Nicole Garner; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Cledith Humbach, and Marie Schuster.

Besides her husband; she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie Wilson and Ann Castator.

Visitation and funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
