LEPERA, Barbara Ann age 74, formerly of Hamilton, currently residing in Duluth, Georgia died Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Dekalb Medical Center. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 20, 1934 the daughter of the late Jack and Mildred (Campbell) Schrudder and was educated in the Hamilton Public Schools. She was married to Carl A. Lepera for fifty-nine years. An executive secretary to Peter E. and Peter R. Rentchler, at Hamilton Foundry, she retired in 1986. She was a past member of the Amicitia Club. Barbara loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; a daughter, Terri A. Ziepfel of Hamilton; a son, Michael (Nancy) Lepera of Duluth, Georgia; four grandchildren, Shawna (Scott) Hoover, Jodi (Rocky) Ball, Stefan and Taylor Lepera; great grandchildren, Tyler, Alivia, and Evan Hoover; two sisters, Fay Brandhoff of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Karen (David) Howard of Trenton, Ohio; a brother Jack (Sharon) Schrudder of Hamilton; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her parents; she was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Schrudder.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Saturday in St. Julie Billiart Church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Friday in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
