WOLF, Barbara L. Palmerton (nee Bastian), age 88 passed, away Thursday, January 3, 2013. Born the daughter of Mary C. (Beimforde) and Clarence Bastian February 18, 1924 in Hamilton Ohio. Barbara was educated in the parochial schools of Hamilton and graduated in 1942 from Notre Dame High School. She served in the Navy during World War II. She married Raymond F. Palmerton in 1945 in Bridgetown Missouri. Seven children were born to this union. She was employed in the offices of the Mosler Safe Company for 29 years, retiring in 1986. She married Arthur E. Wolf in 1972.

She is survived by two sons: Raymond F. (Charlotte) Palmerton Jr. (Fairfield) and Martin L. (Kathy Olberding) Palmerton (Cincinnati); two daughters: Margaret J. (Tom) Brown (Middletown) and Deborah A. (Bill) Lawson (Fairfield); eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three infant Palmerton children, both former husbands, one brother (Reverend R. J. Bastian), and two sisters (Mary L. Bastian Ogg and Claire M. Ernst).

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30am to 1:30pm in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
