SIPLE, Basil B., age 96 a former Hamilton resident, died Sunday, April 9, 2006 in the Bethany Lutheran Village, Dayton, OH. He was born in Cass, West Virginia, on July 4, 1909, the son of William M. and Alice (Rayburn) Siple. In 1936, in Hamilton, OH, he married Clara M. Malott and she preceded him in death in 1981. Mr. Siple had worked as a Hamilton City Bus Driver, for 45 years, retiring in 1975. He relocated to Bethany Lutheran Village in the mid 1980's and was an active member of the church and community, as long as health permitted.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Beatie Morley, Chris Donges, Diane Donges, Steve(Ann) Siple, and Linda Hilterbrandt; 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Alma Holmes.

Besides his wife; he was also preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Siple; a daughter, Georgia Donges; three brothers, Roy, Oden "Dick", and Arlie Siple; two sisters, Verna Siple, and Colleen Oliver.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Pastor Daniel Snider officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
