Benjamin J. Wade, age 17, of Fairfield TWP, Ohio passed away Monday March 11 , 2024 at the West Chester Hospital. He was born in Fairfield, Ohio on March 3, 2007 the son of Thomas and Stephanie (Irwin) Wade. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and participated in the Pause Family Network.

Ben was autistic and the light of our lives.  He had the brightest smile and most infectious laugh in the world.  He loved bear hugs and tickles. He loved swaying to music, splashing in water and playing with musical toys.  Ben loved the sound of rustling water and crackling leaves.  Ben loved taking rides and going to school. Most of all he enjoyed dining out.

Survivors include his parents, Stephanie and Tom Wade; a sister, Rebecca Wade; grandparents, Bob and Jane Irwin and Dolores A. Wade; two uncles, Mark Wade and Patrick (Tiffany) Irwin; two aunts, Sharon and Amy Irwin.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Wade; and uncle Eric Wade.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the teachers and staff of the Rost School where Ben attended.

Visitation and prayers will be 9:30 – 10:30am Wednesday March 20th , 2024 at the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45015 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio 45014 with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
