TEGGE, Bernadine M. age 101 of Fairfield died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on September 24, 1908, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Obringer) Zettler. She was married to Neil Tegge in 1929 and he preceded her in death in 1975. She later married John Tegge in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 1994. Bernadine was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include four children, Mary Catherine (Richard) King, Dolores (William) Bruewer, Phyllis Ann Cox, and Jane (William) Miskell; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews.

Besides her husbands, she was also preceded in death by a son and his wife, Richard (Trudy) Tegge; grandsons, Mark Miskell and Justin King; son-in-law, Ronald Cox; seven brothers, Joseph, Paul, Frank, Albert, Robert, Louis, and Henry Zettler; four sisters, Josephine and Elizabeth Miller, Theresa Moss, and Mary Louise Zettler.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30 am Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Saturday at St. Ann Church, with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 am Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
