MICK, Bernard J., age 87, of Hamilton, died Wed. Nov. 1, 2006 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on August 4, 1919, the son of Bernard J. and Caroline (Bachman) Mick and was a 1937 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp, during WWII. On July 2, 1941, in St. Peter Church, he married Patricia Korn, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2005. Mr. Mick had worked as a tool and Die maker for Fisher Body Hamilton Plant, for thirty years, retiring on Feb. 1, 1977
Survivors include, six children, Dr. James M. (Francine) Mick, of Prescott, AZ, Rev. Lawrence E. Mick, of Dayton, OH, Douglas R. Mick, Coolidge, AZ, Rosemary (William) Brant, of Benton, LA, Teresa A. Smith, of Hamilton, and Daniel J. (Mary) Mick, of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, Christina (Carl) Glassmeyer, Matthew and Eric Smith, Christopher, Eileen, and Brian Mick, Jennifer Read, Matthew Ecstrom, and Allen Mick; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Joseph) Peters.
Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Hess; a son-in-law, Ronald T. Smith; a daughter-in-law, Edith "Sug" Mick.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30AM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM Tuesday in St. Ann Church, Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30AM-10:30AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice Home Care or the American Cancer Society.
