CONRAD, Bernice, age 80 of Fairfield, died Wednesday evening, April 11, 2007 in Hospice of Hamilton in Sunrise Assisted Living Center. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on June 21, 1926, the daughter of James C. and Ada (Kelly) Combs. On February 19, 1949, in St. Ann Church, she married Stanley W. Conrad. Mrs. Conrad was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She loved crafts, sewing, and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Stanley; three daughters, Diane (Buddy) Wilkes, of Niceville, FL, Peggy (Bill) Steffan, of Farmington Hill, Michigan, and Susan (Nick) Gabbard, of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Jared and Janna Steffan, Sarah and Kelly Gabbard, and Amy Wilkes.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by brother, Ralph Combs; and an infant daughter.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Crane and the staff of Hospice of Hamilton for the loving care they provided.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Monday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield.
