SIMPKIN, Betty M. age 84 of Hamilton died Monday, October 12, 2009, at West Chester Medical Center. She was born in Albany, New York on September 18, 1925, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Otto) Cibulas, and was a 1943 graduate of Cathedral High School in Albany, New York. On June 20, 1948 in St. Ambrose in Latham, New York she married Richard R. Simpkin. Betty was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; three children, Wallace J. (Dena) Simpkin of Owings, Maryland, Wayne R. Simpkin of Hamilton, Sharon M. (Ken) Bryan of Felicity, Ohio; six grandchildren, Anthony (Deana) Simpkin, Selena Voss, Brandon, Ryan, Michael, and Kelsey Iker.

She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Edward Cibulas.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Thursday in St. Ann Church with Father Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Choir Fund.
