Obituary

Bonita M. "Bonnie" Parks, age 75 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Saturday April 5, 2025 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 28, 1949, the daughter of Albert J. and Rita (Braun) Wuest. On May 10, 1996, in Hamilton, Ohio she married Jerry M. Parks and he preceded her in death on November12, 2018.

Bonnie loved gardening in her backyard, both flowers and vegetables and she loved country music. One of her favorite places to visit all through her life was Brown County, Indiana to see the country shows there and she loved her CD's and tapes playing at home. Bonnie hated to miss her soap opera or Hallmark movies too, but her biggest pride and joy were her grandchildren and most recently becoming "Gigi".

Survivors include her daughter, Diana (Jay) O'Hara of West Chester, Ohio; four grandchildren, Abby Gloyd, Reagan Gloyd, Ava O'Hara and Zac O'Hara; great granddaughter Laelynn Rankin; a sister, Kathy (Larry) Pelfrey; four brothers, Ken Wuest, Don (Valaree) Wuest, Gary (Kristy) Wuest, and Mark (Jane) Wuest.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law,  Wanda Wuest; a nephew, Kenny Wuest.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday April 10, 2025 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am Thursday April 10, 2025 in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
