ASHER, Brenda L. age 58 of Hamilton, died Friday July 10, 2015 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 5, 1956 the daughter of Leroy and Elizabeth (Schuh) McCoy and was a 1974 graduate of Garfield High School. Brenda worked as a teacher's aid for the Hamilton City schools for 23 years, at George Washington and later Garfield Junior High Schools. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the VFW # 1069 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two children, Josh Asher and Hollie (Ryan) Schrand; two grand children, Tayley and Nathan Asher; five brothers and sisters, Melvin McCoy, Linda (George) Brown, Diane (Kenny) Heinrich, Bryant (Debbie) McCoy and Nancy (Tommy) Freeman; several nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 2006 and her father in 2007.

Prayers will be offered at 12:30pm Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm Friday in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Thursday in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
