WILLIAMS, Calvin J. age 90 of Hamilton died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 22, 1920, the son of Nelson and Eva (Campbell) Williams and was a 1939 graduate of Ross High School. On January 20, 1945, in St. Veronica Church he married Evelyn R. Schutte and she preceded him in death on June 2, 2008. Mr. Williams worked as a machine operator in the Hamilton Autographic Register Co. for thirty years, and later in the Ohio Casualty Print Shop until retirement in 1984. Calvin was a member of St. Ann Church.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas (Alexandra), David (Ginny), Patrick, and Stephen (Sue) Williams; three daughters, Mary Beth Williams, Ann (James) Kurtz, and Rebecca Clemons; nineteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Bill (Janet) Williams of Ross, Ohio.
Besides his wife, Evelyn, he was also preceded in death by a son, Fr. Brian Williams.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Wednesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 am Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
