MORRIS, Carl G. age 86 of Fairfield died Monday, April 28, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield.  He was born in Oneida, Kentucky on February 10, 1928, the son of Lloyd and Callia (Campbell) Morris and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Carl attended the University of Kentucky. In 1956, in Richmond, Indiana he married Lola Faye Howell and she preceded him in death on December 17, 1992.  Mr. Morris was owner and operator of Carl's Fine Cars for over forty years.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include two children, Christy (Greg) Slater of Loxahatchee, Florida and Mark (Shannon) Morris of Florence, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Abigail Faye Morris and Benjamin Carl Morris.

Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Morris Jr., Jess and J.B. Morris.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Fr. Larry Tharp officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10-11:00AM Monday in the funeral home. Online register book is available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
