BARNHORN, Carolyn F., age 86 of St. Clair Township, Ohio died Friday April 18, 2014, in Covington, Kentucky.  She was born April 21, 1927 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Caroline (Koger) Jones.  On October 26, 1942, she married Donald C. Barnhorn and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2006.

Mrs. Barnhorn had worked as a loan officer for CHACO Credit Union for twenty-five years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Ann Church. A member of the Hamilton Boat Club ladies Auxiliary, Carolyn loved boating and spending time with her husband. She also enjoyed ceramics and sewing.

Survivors include two children,  Jeanne (Tim) Zurborg, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, and Glenn (Joanne) Barnhorn, Loveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Denise(Martin) Schlabach, Melissa Cramer, Mike (Misti) Barnhorn, John (Susan) Zurborg, Tammy(John) Martin, David Barnhorn, Steve Sharp, Randy Sharp, and Chris Hibbard; thirteen great grandchildren, Lindsey, Kirsten, Samantha, Kyle, Corey, Brandon, Alexis, Lauren, Mackenzie, Ryan, Jillian, Ashley and Alejandro; a brother, Donald (Kate ) Jones; a daughter-in-law, Tina Barnhorn; a brother-in-law, Robert Barnhorn; a sister-in-law, Rosalyn Fortner..

Besides her husband, Donald, she was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Barnhorn in 2012.

Prayers will be offered at 2:30PM Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home , 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00PM Wednesday in St. Ann Church with Father Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 1:30pm-2:30pm Wednesday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's research or American Diabetes Association.
