Saylor, Carolyn age 59 of Oxford, OH passed away on Sunday December 19th,2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was the daughter of Adna F.and Helen F. (Riggsby) McClellan.On April 19th, 1982 Carolyn married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Saylor Jr.in Hamilton, OH.Carolyn was known by everyone as "Beanie", a name that was given to her by her big sister Debbie when she came home from the hospital. Debbie said she looked like a little white bean; the name Beanie stayed with her throughout her life.Carolyn was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Whenshe was in the room you knew there was going to be laughter, she had such greatcomedic timing. She would also call her siblings on their birthday to sing happy birthday as "Carolyn Monroe", it was a wonderful treat to hear that every year.Carolyn loved her family and spending time with them every chance she had. Hersons and her grandchildren were her shining light, she cherished every minute withthem. Carolyn was also an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. If we were having a familyget together and the Bengals were playing you just knew she was staying home to watch that game. She was the # 1 Who Dey Mama.Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Adna and Helen McClellan, hersisters Karen Anderson, Deborah Wedder, and Janet Cornett, her brother in lawCarl Schiefer, nephew Jared McClellan, sister-in-law/friend Tammy McClellan, and Father in law Kenneth Saylor Sr.Carolyn is survived by her husband Kenneth Saylor Jr., her sons Dustin (Jessie) Saylor and Brandon Saylor. Her grandchildren Kaylyn, Keaton, Brandon Jr., Adrianna, andBrayden Saylor. Her brothers and sisters Steve (Carol) McClellan, Tom (Bobbie Bach)McClellan, Cathy (Larry) Barger, Jim ( Charity) McClellan, Anne (the late Carl Schiefer)Schiefer, Lori Reed, and Chris McClellan. She is also survived by numerous niecesand nephews who she absolutely adored. She also had her dog "Duke" and hercat named "Boyz" who were always at her side up until the end.Carolyn leaves behind so many friends and loved ones as well, she was humbled by how many people that loved her and called her friend.We would like to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses at the Good Samaritan Oncology Dept and VITAS Hospice of Cincinnati for their care and compassion in taking careof Carolyn.
