Vance, Catherine (Mottolo) age 72 of Hamilton, passed away on October 14, 2021 at the Majestic Care of Fairfield. Catherine was born on October 12, 1949, the daughter of Francis J. and Ora Mottolo.

Catherine was a truly loving soul. She was a creative person and an amazing quilter and seamstress. She had a passion for baking and enjoyed making cakes, cookies and peanut butter fudge for her family. Catherine was patient and faced the challenges in her life head on, never giving up. What she loved most and what brought her the most joy was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Catherine is survived by her two children, Angela Wagner and Dorothy (Tommy) Wagner Barnes; grandchildren, Kathryn (Brian) Fauver Gleason, Brandon (Diana) Majors, Michael (Samantha) Boyd II, Danielle Majors, Emme Clem, Madison (Joshua) Boyd Upperman, and Steven (Sarah) Adams III; and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Michael III, Apollo, Preston, McKinleigh, Ryan III, and Leighton.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Carol, Karen, Frank, and Debbie.

Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 11:00am at Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45015. Friends may visit from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am.
