MARTIN, Cecilia L. age 88 of Fairfield, died Saturday March 22, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 14, 1926 the daughter of Peter and Janet (Matarese) Chirco. On June 25, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio she married Robert C. Martin and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2012. Mrs. Martin was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Fairfield, Ohio.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey and wife Sarah Martin; Grandchildren, Jennifer and Robert Martin; three sisters, Mary Rea, Rose Martin, and Carol Benoit; nieces and nephews.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church. Visitation will be from 9:30am-10:30am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
