KUHL, Charlotte Anne age 88 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Bradford Place. She was born in Los Angeles, California on September 12, 1928, the daughter of John A. and Agnes (Vogt) Brodwolf and was a 1946 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On November 16, 1946, in St. Stephen Church she married Richard B. Kuhl and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1992. Mrs. Kuhl was a member of St. Julie Billiart Church and the Altar Rosary Society where she served as president for over 10 years.
Charlotte taught First Communion classes at St. Julie's. She was a seamstress and quilter. She especially loved caring for her grand children.
Survivors include six children, Rick (Pam) Kuhl, Chris Kuhl, Sister Deborah Kuhl, Ken Kuhl, Mike (Divina) Kuhl, and Amy (Mike) Bowling; five grandchildren, Emily, Dan and Jacob Kuhl, Mitchell and Lucy Bowling; two sisters-in-law, Jean Brodwolf and Dorothy Kuhl.
Besides her husband, Richard, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Bob, and Don Brodwolf; a sister, Mary Ellers; three children in infancy, Natalie, Stephen, and Mariam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM Friday in St. Julie Billiart Church, 224 Dayton St. Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:00AM Friday in the church. In lieu of flowers you can make donations to St. Julie Billiard's Alter Rosary Society or to St. Julie Billiard's Community Fund.
