STANGRET, Charlotte G. age 89 of Fairfield died Tuesday, January 27, 2009, in Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. She was born on November 21, 1919 in Sehma, Germany. On January 12, 1952 in England, she married Panko Stangret, and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1987. Mrs. Stangret had worked as a seamstress for Crystal Dry Cleaners. A member of St. Ann Church, she also was a member Liberty Home Association German Society, and had been Vice President of the Liberty Home Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include a cousin, Mychaline Leseiko and family; her Godson, John Stangret and family; close friends,

Nancy and Roy Ellis, June and Herbert Wendt.

Besides her husband Panko, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry Riedle; and a cousin, Ivan Leseiko.

Her friends want to express their thanks to the staff of Schroder Manor for the excellent care they provided.

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Friday in St. Ann Church, with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant.
