SHIPLEY, Christine age 62 a longtime resident of Hamilton, passed away peacefully March 22, 2008, in Flagstaff, AZ with family and friends by her side. She was born in Hamilton, OH on July 31, 1945 the daughter of the late Jay and Virginia Shipley and lived in the Hamilton area for much of her life.

For the past year she was a participant in the day program and a resident in a group home affiliated with the Hozhoni Foundation in Flagstaff, AZ. It was one of the happiest times of her life and her art work was very well received by the community.

Survivors include a sister, Carol Anne Shipley and her husband Doug Jilg, of Amelia, OH; her paternal aunt, Mrs. Bonnie Lewis, of Flagstaff, AZ; a niece, Sally Shipley-Jilg, of Portland, Oregon; a nephew, Sam Shipley-Jilg, of Batavia, OH; and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as twin brothers who died shortly after birth.

A celebration of Christine's life will begin at 2:00pm Sunday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Friends may call from 1-2:00pm Sunday in the funeral home.
