Obituary

RIMER, Cornellia "Connie" age 82 of Hamilton died Monday, October 4, 2010, at the Butler County Care Center. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on May 30, 1928, the daughter of Luther and Ellen (Hensley) Hubbard. On June 27, 1947, in St. Mary Church she married Raymond E. Rimer and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1998. Mrs. Rimer cooked in the Van Buren Elementary School cafeteria for twenty years retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Right to Life of Butler County, and the V.F.W. # 1069 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her three daughters, Barbara Blanton, and Mary L. (Raymond) Richter both of Hamilton, Linda R. (Terry) Croswell of Hanover Township; ten grandchildren, Robert, James, and Michael Blanton, Christina Salter, Catherine Kell, Anna Mills, Elizabeth Richter, Brian, Matthew, and Amanda Croswell; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; five sisters, Ethel Rimer, Mollie Eversole, Roberta Bond, Betty Lou Stanton, and Margie Anderson; two brothers, William Ray and Eugene Hubbard.
Besides her husband, Raymond, she was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Rimer; a son-in-law, Robert Blanton; a grandson, Raymond Micheal Blanton; two brothers, Bige and Robert Hubbard; two sisters, Beulah Faye Young and Ellen Mae Egner.
Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Tuesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Monday in the funeral home with VFW auxiliary services at 7:00pm. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
