GAMEL, David M. age 38 of Liberty Township, Ohio died Monday, July 8, 2013, after a 28 month battle with brain cancer. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 25, 1975, the son of George and Jacquita (Winkler) Gamel, and was a 1993 graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 16, 1995, in Cincinnati he married Emily R. Hoffman. David worked at Clarke Power Service Inc. of Tri County. He was a devoted member of the Princeton Pike Church of God, a member and Vice Grand of Eaton # 147 I.O.O.F. of Gratis, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Emily; four children, Lauren, Austin, Spencer, and Ryan Gamel; his parents, George Gamel and Jacquita (Bill) Raleigh; his grandmother, Gladys Winkler; a sister, Teresa Smith; a brother, Daniel (Dreama) King; special nieces and nephew, Megan, Samantha, Mia, and Matthew; his father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Hoffman.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Cecil King; grandfather, Thurland Winkler.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday in the Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Rd. Liberty Township, OH 45011 with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12noon-2:00 pm Thursday at the church.
