LUNSFORD, David Arthur "Hillbilly" (pictured with his Mother) age 57, of Oxford Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011. David was born in Manchester, Kentucky on April 28, 1953. He was born into this world to the loving parents John and Mary Nancy Lunsford. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict. David enjoyed watching sports. Football and NASCAR were his favorites. He enjoyed family gatherings and holidays. David passed away with all of his sisters and brothers along with his niece Missy and nephew Chris and his wife, Erica by his side. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters. John (Cheryl) Gregory, Carol (Tam Tyree) Mawhirter, Bertha (Jeff) Grupenhof, Elbert (Linda) Lunsford, Nancy (William) Harrison, Mark Lunsford, whom was David's primary care giver for the last year of his life, Kathy (Gary) Gupenhof, Cindy (Mike Landrum) Davenport, Valerie (Bob) Sudbrink. He also leaves behind uncles, aunts and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and good friend, Marty Riley. He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, John and Mary Nancy Lunsford. The family wishes to extend their special thanks to OSU Medical Hospital Columbus, Ohio for the wonderful care.
