Pandl, Dennis P. age 66 of Fairfield passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Vitas Hospice with his wife Diana by his side, after a very brave fight against cancer. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 7, 1950, the son of Henry and Rosemary (Kelley) Pandl. His earlier years were spent in Whitefish Bay, WI attending Holy Family Grade School, Dominican High School (Class of '68), and Marquette University where he earned his degree in 1972. He was a proud member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and cherished all his friendships, especially those from his band of brothers at Newberry House. An opportunity with Western States Company to open a sales territory relocated him to the Ohio area where he met and fell in love with Diana Axt. They were married on July 4, 1987, in Mt. St. Joseph Chapel in Cincinnati, Ohio, and together they raised two wonderful sons. Dennis worked for 35 years for Western States Company and was the first sales representative for the Erlanger, Kentucky Envelope House Plant. He retired in 2011 due to illness. Dennis was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Fairfield, Ohio and a volunteer for Shared Harvest Food Bank.
Survivors include his wife, Diana, beloved sons, Matthew and Michael Pandl of Cincinnati, three sisters, Patty (Tom) Kuehn, Clare Bauer, and Kathy (John) O'Connor all of Madison, WI, dear mother in law Geneva Axt, and numerous sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews and friends who truly adored his very gentle nature and quick wit.
