Van Deuson, Diane E. (nee Service) age 69, of Glenburn, Maine, wife of Thomas Jones and mother of John Jones passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus April 5, 2014, at her home following a valiant eight year fight against ovarian cancer.  Diane was born February 23, 1945 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert W. and Anna Marie (Hoffmann) Service. Diane attended St. Peter in Chains Elementary School and graduated in the Class of 1963 from Notre Dame High School.  She received the Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati.

Diane is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Jones of Glenburn, Maine, son John D. Jones of Burlington, Vermont, sister Donna J. Halsted of Plantation, Florida and many relatives including aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Friends and relatives are welcome to call from 12noon-1:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, Ohio where a Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by inurnment at St. Mary's Cemetery.  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 11, 2014 at Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Old Town, Maine.
