SCHWARTZ, Dolores A. age 83 of Fairfield died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 29, 1931, the daughter of Martin and Gladys (Volk) Heichelbech, and was a 1949 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On October 17, 1953, in St. Mary Church she married George "Gene" E. Schwartz. Dolores had worked for Union Central Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gene; seven children, Tim (Marilyn) Schwartz, Tom (Charlotte) Schwartz, Anita (Bart) Ruoff, Karen (Dave) Chasteen, Steve (Phyllis) Schwartz, Kenny Schwartz, and Linda (Brian) Lester; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and Edgar Heichelbech.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lavone Petry.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Thursday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-7:00PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
