SMITH, Dolores K. age 81 of Fairfield died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at her residence. She was born on December 13, 1927, the daughter of Allen F. and Marie (Stradtman) Kisinger, and was a 1945 graduate of Hamilton High School . She married Richard W. Smith on June 8, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1997. Dolores had managed Florence's dress shop in Fairfield, worked as a clerk for Butler County Water and Sewer, and was owner of Hick's Manor Hardware.
Survivors include three children, Larry E. (Carol) Smith of Columbus, OH; Erin S. O'Mera of Fairfield; Michael Kim (Vickie) Smith of Fairfield; eight grandchildren, Julie (Tod) Sackella, Amy (Chris) Kienle, Kevin (Angie) Smith, Gina (Brian) Bell, Dan (Jessica) Ciavarella, Shane (Melony) Smith, Nick (Julie) Smith and Staci Smith; sixteen great-grandchildren, Madison, Andrew, Mallory Sackella; Rachel, Brooke Kienle; Chase, Addison, Owen Smith; Ansley, Emmie Bell; Ashton, Megan, Brandon, Nathan, Rylin Ciavarella; and Kierstyn Kuhn; Beloved dogs, Mindy and Molly.
Her parents, two brothers, and a son-in-law, Charlie O'Mera, also preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Chaplin Myra Wentworth officiating followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park . Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd. Cincinnati , Ohio 45242 .
