SHELTON, Dolores L. "Sis" age 86 of Hamilton died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 9, 1924 the daughter of Raymond and Alberta (Mick) Richter and was a 1943 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On December 8, 1945, in St. Veronica Church she married Gene P. Shelton. Mrs. Shelton was a member of St. Julie Billiart Parish, the ACES, the Friends of Takoda Trails and she also enjoyed bowling, golf, and card groups

Survivors include her husband, Gene; six children, Ellen Shelton, Peggy (Gene) Potts, Jane (Mike) Robinson, Paul, Timothy, and Anita Shelton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita O'Donohoe; two sisters-in-law, Margie Richter and Joy (Marion) Brady.

She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Shelton; a daughter, Melanie Roth; two brothers, David and Gene Richter.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Tuesday in St. Julie Billiart Church, with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Monday in the funeral home.
