WEISS, Dolores M. age 90, of Fairfield died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Mercy Hospital, Fairfield. She was born in Mt. Healthy, Ohio on Feb. 12, 1917, the daughter of John and Anna (Reichwein) Hartmann. She grew up in Lindenwald and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy. After high school, she worked at her father's grocery store on Symmes Road and at Proctor and Gamble. On Sept 5, 1942, she married Walton E. Weiss at St. Ann's Church. Her life was devoted to home, family, and her Catholic faith. After her children were grown, she realized her dream of living in the country side enjoying gardening, sewing, piano playing and the visits of her family.

She is survived by her husband Walton, and six children, Robert Weiss (Bonnie) and
Richard Weiss (Julie) of Fairfield, James Weiss (Jane) of Cincinnati,
Mary Ellen Weiss of Columbus, Dr. Joseph Weiss
and Patricia Fehlig, both of Greensboro, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Amy Kendall (Greg) of Richmond, Va., Jennifer Bender (Jim)of Maplewood, N.J., Shane Weiss, Adam Weiss, Derek Weiss, Erin Weiss, Mark Weiss, and Eric Weiss; four great grandchildren, Will, Andrew, and Katy Kendall, and Joey Bender; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers - Stanley, Anthony, Harlan, and Alvin Hartmann, three sisters Luella Wenzel, Norma Stuckenberg and Coletta Hartmann.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM.
