BURNS, Donald D. age 61 of Hamilton died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 31, 1948, the son of Odell and Dorothy (Griggs) Burns, and was a 1966 graduate of Garfield High School. Donald worked as a truck driver for S & S Delivery for over 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his dear companion, Donna J. Bachmann; six children, Theodore and Nicholas Burns, John (Nancy), Donald (Malinda), and Douglas Bachmann, Kelly (Bachmann) Kaehler; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Penny (Sidney) Martin and LaSonia Kerber.

The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and staff of Golden Years Nursing Home and Hospice of Hamilton for the excellent care they provided.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Burns.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday in the Proeschel-Crawford- Zettler Funeral Home, 547 Main St., with Bishop Wesley Foister officiating, followed by burial in Millville Cemetery.
