BARNHORN, Donald C., age 84, of Trenton, OH died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at his home. He was born in Hamilton, OH on March 14, 1922, the son of Carl and Marie (Zang) Barnhorn. On October 26, 1942, he married Carolyn F. Jones. Mr. Barnhorn was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp, serving during WWII. He was owner and operator of Barney's Body and Paint Shop, for twenty years, retiring in 1984. A member of the Hamilton Boat Club, and also was a member of the VFW # 1069. He loved boating and enjoyed spending time with his wife, of sixty-four years, Carolyn.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; three children, Donald (Tina) Barnhorn, of Manchester, OH, Jeanne (Tim) Zurborg, of Taylor Mill, KY, and Glenn (Joann) Barnhorn, Loveland, OH; nine grandchildren, Denise(Martin) Schlabach, Melissa(Todd) Cramer, Mike (Misti) Barnhorn, John (Susan) Zurborg, Tammy(John) Martin, David Barnhorn, Steve Sharp, Randy Sharp, and Christina Hibbard; twelve great grandchildren, Lindsey, Kirsten, Samantha, Kyle, Corey, Brandon, Alexis, Lauren, Mackenzie, Ryan, Jillian, and Ashley; a brother, Robert Barnhorn; a sister, Rosalyn Fortner.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30AM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM Monday in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 9-10:30AM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer Association or American Diabetes Association.
