ROBINSON, Donald R. age 71 of Fairfield, died Monday October 19, 2009, at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 15, 1938, the son of Isa and Martha (Poe) Robinson. On April 14, 1968, in Hamilton, Ohio he married Eunice F. Whitaker and she preceded him in death on June 12, 2008. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force. Donald worked as a machinist and tool and die maker for GE Evendale plant for thirty-five years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Stahlheber Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Sheila Rogers of Fairfield, Richard Robinson of Cincinnati, John "Ron" (Erin) Robinson of Liberty Township; eight grandchildren, Brandy, Tiffany, Stephen, James, A.J., Misty, Ryan, Loren; three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, and Zoey; two brothers, Fred (Audrey) Robinson, and Rubin Robinson.

Besides his wife Eunice, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Chester, and Bruce Robinson; a sister, Anna Disney.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday in the Stahlheber Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Rd., with Pastor Harold Thompson officiating followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
