SHIE, Donald E. ,age 72 of Fairfield, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at his home. He was born in Lucasville, Ohio on January 10, 1935, the son of John O. and Goldie (Lawhorn) Shie. Mr. Shie had been an instructor at D. Russell Lee Vocational School. Survivors include three children, Rick L. (Becky) Shie, of California, Brenda K. Hoenie, of Sidney, Ohio, and Ronald (Cheryl) Shie, of Celina, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Marilyn) Shie; two sisters, Barbara (Donald) Doll, and Linda (Dennis) Stankus. He was preceded in death by a brother, Basil Shie.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave, with Rev. Stephen Mondiek officiating. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati or the local American Cancer Society. Online register book at ww.zettlerfuneralhome.com
