HENSLEY, Dorothy V. age 92 of Fairfield, died Sunday January 20, 2013 in Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 15, 1920 the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Wohlwender) Schramm. On February 7, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio she married John C. Hensley and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2000. Mrs. Hensley had worked as a registered nurse for Hamilton City Schools, for thirty years, retiring as the supervisor of the school nurses. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include her son, John M. (Karen) Hensley; granddaughter, Kimberly (Brennan) Graham, all of Fairfield; a brother, Richard (Marian) Schramm; a sister-in-law, Joan Schramm; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Arthur "Bud"; three sisters, Mary, Ethel, and Irene.

Friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Friday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-8:00pm Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to Badin High School.
