Dorothy G. Kuhl age 102 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Sunday August 11, 2024 at Gateway Springs Health Campus. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 2, 1921 the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth (Ohr) Heinrich. In 1942, in St. Stephen Church she married Robert F. Kuhl and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1975. Mrs. Kuhl was member of St. Ann Church. Dorothy was one of the first car hops to work at Jolly's Root beer stands and had worked in the Mercy Hospital admitting for 16 years. She also loved dancing at the Hamilton Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include her three children, Robert W. (Judy) Kuhl, Becky Connaughton, and Dottie (Steve) Pater; nine grandchildren, Mark (Mary) Kuhl, Cindy (Dan) Harmon, Kathy (Andy) Brossart, Brian Connaughton, Kelly Connaughton, Joe Connaughton, Greg (Angela) Pater, Ben (Julie) Pater, and Emily (Brett) Buffa; twenty-one great grandchildren, Matt, Hailee, Heather and Jacob Kuhl, Zoe Connaughton, Ryan and Kristin Roark, Logan and Lucas Rocklin, Cheyenne and Sierra Pater, Lauren Pater, Braden Short, Laci and Alyssa Buffa, Megan, Johnny, and  Emily Harmon, Zack , Avery , and Lainey Brossart; and one great great granddaughter due in October; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert of 32 years; a son, Billie in 1945, Son-in-law, Jim Connaughton; her parents; three brothers, Ray and wife Norma Heinrich, Don and wife Pauline Heinrich and Eldon Heinrich; a sister, Ruth and husband Gene Hunter; sisters-in-law, Marcella and husband Glenn Evans, Alberta and husband Dutch Hudson; brothers-in-law, Paul and wife Rosella Kuhl, Cyril and wife Marylou Kuhl, and Richard and wife Charlotte Kuhl.

The family would like to express their love and heartfelt thanks to Gateway Springs and the crew for their excellent care and kindness to our  mom.

Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am Saturday August 17, 2024 in the Sacred Heart Church Narthex, 400 Nilles Road Fairfield, OH  45014. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am Saturday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant.
