LACKER, Dorothy passed away at the Lodge Care Center in Cincinnati on June 14, 2012, at the age of 89. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 13, 1923, to Charles and Anna Christine (Schmucker) Leyrer and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1941. She married Robert Lacker in 1946, and raised three children. During her life, she enjoyed painting, antiques, gardening, card clubs and especially her family and friends. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lacker in 2009, and her brothers, Dr. Earl Leyrer, Dr. Carl Leyrer, and Dr. Ralph Leyrer.

She is survived by her three children, Pamela (David) Burkhart, of Indianapolis, IN, Dr. Robert (Patricia) Lacker, of Montgomery, OH, and Sally (Todd) Stark, of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, Lauren (Daniel) Spillman, Nicholas Burkhart, Kevin (Anna) Lacker, Kimberly (Eric) Lacker Tal, and Allison Lacker; two great grandchildren, Emerson Spillman and Sullivan Spillman; a twin sister, Margery Finch, of Fairfield, OH, a sister-in-law, Virginia Schurfranz, of Bradenton, FL, and a brother-in-law, Allen Lacker, of Fairfield, OH.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 18th, 2012 at 2:00pm, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Daniel Spillman, grandson-in-law, officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm Monday preceding the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to a charity of donor's choice.
