RUHL, Dorothy M. age 88 of Hamilton , died Friday, September 24, 2010, in Tri-county Extended Care Center . She was born in Cleves , Ohio on August 23, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Schreibis) Jaehnen. In 1950, she married Joseph A. Ruhl and he preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Ruhl was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Kenneth) Eckel, of Hernando , Mississippi , and Carol A. Ruhl, of Hamilton ; two grandchildren, Rob (Susan) Eckel, and Katie Eckel; two sisters, Rita Roell and Florence (Tom) Merkel.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Ruhl in 2006; two sisters and two brothers.

Prayers will be offered at 9:00am Saturday in the Zettler funeral home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am Saturday in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Ann School Roots and Wings scholarship fund.
