MASSIE, Dorothy age 95 of Hamilton, Ohio died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. She was born in Estill County Kentucky on October 15, 1916 the daughter of Vernon and Nannie (Dunaway) Thomas and attended Estill County Schools. In 1945 in Covington, Kentucky she married Chester A. Massie and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1981. Mrs. Massie had worked as a grocery store clerk at Front Street Market and Fairview Market. Survivors include a brother, Harry Thomas Sr.; four sisters, Marcella Saylor, Elwanda Pearson, Joyce Chambers, and Sue Johnson.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, Eugene, Jennings, and Vernon Thomas
Funeral Services will be held at 10am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Pastor Mark Crider officiating, followed by Entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
