RICHEN, Dorothy M., age 84, formerly of Fairfield, currently a West Chester resident, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at the Heritage Spring Health Care. She was born on August 3, 1921, in Portsmouth, OH, the daughter of William and Jenny (Mitchell) Barnaky. On June 6, 1942, in Portsmouth, OH, she married Robert J. Richen, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1989. Mrs. Richen had been an active member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda (William) Schorr, of Alexandria, VA, Barbara (Dr. Richard) King, of Fairfield TWP, and Robin Hester, of West Chester; six grandchildren, Kelly (Joey) Seymour, Matthew (Andrea) King, Jacob (Amy) King, Becky (Jon) Walls, Michelle (Kent) Steffes, and Billy(Courtney) Schorr; eleven great grandchildren, P.J., Jill, and Allie Seymour, Rachel, Matthew, and Sarah King, Olivia and Ben King, and Emma Walls, Alexander Filimonov, and Kate Steffes; a sister, Lil (Ray) Webb, of Columbus, OH; two brothers, William and Robert Barnaky of Springhill, FL.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jill King; a sister, Ona Stout; and a nephew, Terry Stout.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday in the Lindenwald United Methodist Church, 3501 Pleasant Ave., with the Rev. Barry Burns and Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating, followed by burial in Rosehill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 2-4:00PM Sunday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Memorials are suggested to the Lindenwald United Methodist church.
