Woods, Eddie, age 58 of Hamilton, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Sizerock, Kentucky on October 10, 1950 the son of Cecil and Fern (Hoskins) Woods. On August 19, 1969 in Hamilton, Ohio he married Rhonda Wahl. Ed had been employed by Champion Paper Co. for nearly forty years. He was an avid fisherman, and devoted his life to his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda; stepmother, Jerema Woods; three children, David (Lori) Woods of Okeana, Shane (Robin) Woods, on active duty in Iraq, Carrie (Chris) Scalf of Hamilton; eleven grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Chelsea, Danielle, William, Tyler, Kahli, Emery, Courtney, Lake, and Christopher; three sisters, Prescova (Bob) Wroot, Faye (Frank) Huelsman, Pam (Benz) Halter; three brothers, Kenny (Donna) Woods, Gary (Kelly) Woods, Chet (Connie) Woods; one step sister, Rita (Mike) Strack; one step-brother Rick (Antonella) Baker.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00pm Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday in Sizerock , Kentucky with Reverends Andy Woods and Greg Baker, nephews of the deceased, officiating.
