DURROUGH, Edna P. age 100 of Hamilton, currently residing in Garden Manor, passed away peacefully, in her sleep, Friday, Feb. 24, 2006. She was born in Trenton, OH on Oct. 30, 1905, the daughter of George and Mary (Goebel) House and was a 1923 graduate of Trenton High School. On Oct. 17, 1925, in New Port, KY, she married Carlyle W. Durrough and he preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1986. Mrs. Durrough had worked as a sales clerk at Robinson Schwenn, Wilmers, and Elder Beerman, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Donald and his wife Faye Durrough, of Hamilton; a grandson, Steven and his wife Paula Durrough of Hamilton; two great grandchildren, Kevin and Jennifer Durrough; a sister, Esther Doebler Goebel, of Middletown; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her husband; she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Russell, and Arthur House.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave, with Greg Albright officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
