HITESHUE, Edward W. age 89 of Hamilton died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Trenton, Ohio on December 4, 1920, the son of Robert and Estella (Kopp) Hiteshue. On June 20, 1942, in the First United Methodist Church he married Helena E. Stephan and she preceded him in death on April 27, 2009. Mr. Hiteshue served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII, and was a salesman for Dow Chemical Company retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Edward was also a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge, and a past commander of the Syrian Shrine Temple Motor Corp.
Survivors include two nieces, Deborah Stephan, Carol Ann Spinner; one nephew, Ron Stephan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday in the Proeschel-Crawford-Zettler Funeral Home, 547 Main St. with Rev. Peggy Garrison of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 10-11:30am Wednesday in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
