SMITH, Eileen M. age 84 of Hamilton died Monday, July 20, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on September 21, 1924 the daughter of Harmon and Marion (Sharkey) Overholts, and was a 1942 graduate of Hamilton High School. On January 4, 1947, in Lindenwald United Methodist Church she married Gordon W. Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; two children, Scott W. (Suzanne Nylander) Smith of Duluth Georgia, and Diane M. (Dan) White of Cincinnati, OH; one granddaughter, Abbie (Jeff) Blume, of Mason, OH; a sister, Patti Connell, of Newtown, OH; two cousins, Rosemary Hingsbergen and Margaret Baker; and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Jay Overholts.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Reverend Edwin R. Beck officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
