CURTIS, Elaine L., age 81 of Fairfield, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Tri-county Extended Care Center. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 11, 1926, the daughter of Paul C. and Clara (Brinker) Zimmerman and was a 1944 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On October 6, 1949, in Hamilton, she married James E. Curtis. Mrs. Curtis had been Fairfield branch manager of Westside Federal Savings and Loan, for twenty years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Survivors include her husband, James; four children, Robert (Ann) Curtis, of California, Don Cutis, of Toledo, OH, Dave (Terri) Curtis, of Richmond, VA, and Cathy (Tom) Green, of Cincinnati, OH; ten grandchildren; a brother, Paul Zimmerman; a sister, Ruth Koenig.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Zimmerman; and a sister, Catherine Schneider.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30 am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield.
