EICHHOLD, Elaine "Becky", age 84 a longtime Lindenwald resident and more recently a resident of Fairfield, died Tuesday September 23, 2008 in Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 24, 1923 the daughter of Henry and Matilda (Maus) Beck and was a 1941 graduate of Notre Dame Academy. On May 11, 1946, in St. Ann Church, she married John O. Eichhold. At the age of fifty she graduated from the Gonzaga Hall L.P.N. program and worked for fourteen years at Mercy Hospital Hamilton, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Ann Church, the Altar Rosary Society and in the past was very active in church activities.

Survivors include her husband, Jake; seven children, John Eichhold, Thomas (Mary) Eichhold, Marylou (Mike) Sanders, Ann Rulon, Jean (Clyde) Carter, James (Becki) Eichhold, and George Eichhold; nineteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1945 and her mother in 1991.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Friday in St. Ann Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Ann Church. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
