TEGGE, Elaine C. age 91 of Fairfield passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 6, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Schone) Mayr. On February 19, 1949, in St. Ann Church, she married William J. Tegge and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1995. Elaine was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Tegge was an avid card player, enjoying playing with St. Ann Card Club and Thursday card group.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Dave) Beckman of Hamilton; a son, Donald (Pattie) Tegge of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Renee (John) Wilson, Lisa (Dave) DeMonge, Lori (Brad) Mills, Billy (Michelle) Tegge, and Kathryn (Nick) Dials; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Sara Meyer and Marguerite Tegge; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides her husband, William, she was also preceded in death by three sisters.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30AM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10:30AM Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Church.
