McCoy, Elizabeth "Betty", age 82, of Hamilton, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, OH on March 27, 1924 the daughter of Leo and Eleanor (Ruhl) Schuh. On March 30, 1946, in Hamilton, OH, she married Leroy McCoy. Mrs. McCoy was a life member of the VFW # 1069 Ladies auxiliary and the Eagles # 407 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Leroy; six children, Melvin (Carol) McCoy of Leesburg, FL, Linda (George) Brown, Diane (Kenny) Heinrich, Brenda Asher, Bryant (Debbie) McCoy, and Nancy (Tommy) Freeman, all of Hamilton; seventeen grandchildren, Tiffany, Scott, and Matt McCoy, Lisa (Charlie) Cruea, Sheila(Andy) Brown, Johanna and Kelly Brown, Ashley Myers, Josh and Hollie Asher, Mia, Candace, Jeremy, and Valerie McCoy, Cheyanna, Jordan, and Tyler Sims; four great grandchildren, Carley Cruea, Katie Brown, Nathan Asher, and Airam McCoy; a sister; Evelyn Brown, of Hamilton; dear prior daughter-in-law, April McCoy.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Monday in St. Ann Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM Sunday in the funeral home, with VFW Auxiliary services at 7:00PM.
