FREDERICK, Elizabeth A. Age 82 of Hamilton, Ohio died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Alois Alzheimer Center in Greenhills, OH. Betty was born September 1, 1925 in Middletown, Ohio to Walter and Sabina (Berry) Hees. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1943 and worked at Armco Steel for many years and was an active member of the Armco Girls. On January 21, 1956 at Holy Trinity Church in Middletown, Ohio, she married William J. Frederick. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2005. Betty was a devout member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Hamilton, Ohio and an active member of the Rosary Society as well as working the Bingo. She also was a den mother for her sons scouting troop for several years. Betty thoroughly enjoyed most sports and loved bowling with her team 'Monday Morners' at Coleman Lanes. She was also a longtime scorekeeper for Lindewald baseball. She patiently taught all of her grandchildren how to toss a ball.

Survivors include her five children: Tim (Judy) Frederick of Kingsport, TN, Kevin (Beth) Frederick and their children Dan, Dave, Diane and Doug of Hamilton, OH, Mary (Pete) Marrero and their children Clare and Kate of Cincinnati, OH, Bill (Karen) Frederick and their children Michael and Sarah of San Jose, CA, Todd (Angie) Frederick and their children Joel, Aaron and Caryn of Hamilton, OH. She also leaves a loving brother; Walter (Angie) Hees of Birmingham, MI. She was preceded in death by a baby sister; Peggy Eileen Hees.

Betty's family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful devoted staff at the Alois Alzheimer Center and more recently to the Hospice of Southwest Ohio. Their love for those they care for is what carried us through the years and for this we are truly grateful.

Prayers will be offered at 1:30PM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00PM Friday in St. Ann Church, Hamilton. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
